Those of us who work for extended periods of time in a kneeling position - may
it be at work or hobby - will appreciate this comfort. Birki´s knee cushions and
protectors were developed especially for jobs involving extensive kneeling.

Without knee protection the entire body weight lasts on a very small pressure point. Pain and even permanent damage are premeditated. Therefore, Birki´s developed two knee protection systems that meet with highest demands: the knee cushion and the more mobile knee protectors.		With knee protection however, the pressure is distributed perfectly. Keeping orthopedic and anatomical factors in mind we developed our knee protection. Alpro®-foam is used because of its excellent shock absorbing properties which helps prevent permanent damages to the joints. Even extensive kneeling remains pain free.
