The main components of the classic Birki's are of natural origin: Cork and natural rubber. They support the natural walking process with their cushioning properties.

Where we do not employ leather, we use our Birko-Flor® for the upper material. This fleece is very soft, sturdy and caresses the foot. With the bathing sandals, we have fused this inseparably with the footbed. In this way, we are able to dispense with adhesives – to the benefit of your health and the environment.

Our bathing sandals and waterproof clogs are made from ALPRO®-Cell or ALPRO®-Foam.

ALPRO®-Cell is an especially light material, in which the kids can romp outdoors to their hearts' content.

ALPRO®-Foam is a highly sturdy material that can easily stand up to any adventure and can be washed at 60° C.
